Healthy: Hi. I'm an endocrinologist and a type 1 diabetic x 40 years. I advise all my patients just to eat healthy. Whole grains, healthy oils (canola & olive), legumes, nuts, fruits & veggies, nonfat dairy, and lean meats. Minimal saturated fats, no (or minimal) processed flours/grains (No white flour or white rice).
