The sons and brothers of men who have had testicular cancer are more likely to develop testicular cancer. But only about 3% of patients have a family history.

Not high 1-3%: Approximately 1 to 3 percent of affected men have a family member with the disease. Majority would be associated with some other factors- like undescended testes, infertility/subfertility, HIV infection, hypospadias, other condition like klinefelter's etc.
