What is reproductive endocrinology use of ultrasonography?

Many important ones: Fertility testing: check ovarian volumes (size) and antral follicle counts (afc = numbers of small egg-containing follicles), check uterus for fibroids or uterine anomaly (septum etc.), saline-infusion sonogram checks inside of uterus. Monitoring treatment: follicle sizes/volumes for clomid, (clomiphene) letrozole, FSH or ivf treatment, lining of uterus. Egg retrieval. Ob sono: pregnant, multiple miscarriages.

Hi. I had endocrinology tests, some of which were at worst slightly outside of the normal range. Some were normal range. I have no apparent symptoms. My doctor wants a thyroid ultrasound and thyroid MRI (I think MRI because Prolactin 22). Why?
Endocrinology. My TSH two days apart was 0.32 and 0.38 My Prolactin was 22.2. My endocrinologist wants me to have both MRI and thyroid ultrasound. Is 22.2 very high? Should I repeat prolactin and bloodwork before having MRI or go for MRI? Thank you!
Can you see anything outside of the reproductive system with a vaginal ultrasound?
