Be suportive: Once you realize your spouse has this illness you have been exposed enough to get it.Most get this illness in childhood and will be immune, if not it would be weeks before you would show signs. Be supportive. These patients can be bedridden as adults for 2-3 weeks. Taking over all the housework for a time will do you both some good.Good luck.
