Could use your help docs! my daughter scratches sores in her scalp?

Itchy scalp: Two things come to mind right off, head lice and ringworm. If the sores are round with raised edges and her hair is falling out it is probably ringworm and needs to be treated with an antifungal medication by mouth. Head lice can cause itching and sores also and again, until treated it doesn't get better. Take her to see her pediatrician so she can get some relief.
