Get seen: Every acne Rx that works is going to be unpleasant. Neutrogena, which is salicylic acid, is the stronger and if you couldn't tolerate the dryness, it's time to talk with your physician about adding prescription-strength Rx to some good topical agent. You can try topical benzoyl peroxide until you can get seen, but expect some side-effects as well.
