My son is 13yrs old. he started having teen acne 2mos. ago. treated it with neutrogena oil free acne wash pink grapefruit, clean and clear advantage acne spot treatment & acne spot patches. now pimples are gone, it left red spots. what can i use?

If there are no pustules, keep the skin clean with an acne face wash and apply a topical acne medication available over the counter. The areas treated tend to fade but new lesions may appear.
