Amiodarone: Amio can cause both over and underactive thyroid. This is why your doctor said it could be causing the finding.

Have Hashimotos. Thyroid family history( Dad). In SEP 2019 my T4 was 0.8. RANGE is 0.9-2.1. TSH 7.61 ( RANGE 0.27-4.20). DEC 2019 T4 was 1.0 TSH 5.39 Was told I have SUBCLINICAL HYPOTHYROIDISM. Not on meds. SHOULD I GET A SECOND DR. OPINION?
