There is a certain amount of individual variability as well as variability in test results. If you do not have any symptoms and your general health has been stable, you may choose to watch and wait after discussing the results with your doctor.

Any test ordered by a Dr should be reviewed by that Dr. This is important because the tests must be interpreted against the background of past or current illness, use of any medications etc. In general, thyroid function is impacted by use of meds including birth control, environmental pollutants(eg pesticides, cleaning chemicals), stress etc. Be sure to follow up with your Dr & report any symptoms
