Reduce the salt and: Keep them elevated that will help, you have to use some water bills, consult your doctor.

Less salt: Elevation helps, but a low sodium diet is better.

Swollen foot: When the swelling is due to too much salt, usually both feet swell. They will improve with elevation and salt reduction. Sometimes diuretics are used to reduce the swelling. However, swelling in one foot or leg should be looked at by your physician as it is likely due to other causes.
