Anything's possible: The number one cause of a missed period in a woman who normally has monthly periods is pregnancy, so it it smart to have done home pregnancy tests. Home pregnancy tests are sometimes falsely negative, if it is too early in the pregnancy for enough hormone to be passed into the urine. I recommend seeing your family physician, who can perform a blood test for pregnancy ; help evaluate why the change.
