Vitamin D helps: Protect against increased risk of death from cardiovascular disease, cognitive impairment in older adults, severe asthma in children, some say cancer. There is a great deal of research supporting the need for vitamin d but I have not seen anything related to ms. Ask your doc about getting to between 50 and 80 on you lab work. That's what the experts want, although 30 is w/in normal limits.
