Raves: First, and most important, find different friends and other ways to occupy your time. This behavior warrants discussion with a psychologist. Second, you may have had other drugs. Other medications (for tourettes or tmj) may cause symptoms. Finally a TMJ diagnosis in an 18 year old is suspect, and "tmj" doesn't cause dry mouth, it's a joint and muscle problem.

Find the causes: Medications side effects can be a dry mouth. Ask your dentist for someone in your area that treats these type of problems and get professional help that deals with why your joints are bad, why the muscles are sore and the other things they will find in a good diagnosis. Good luck.
