Every 4 days: The rotation diet refers to eating the same food only once every 4 days to prevent sensitivity reactions. The theory behind it is that food usually takes 4 days to travel through the intestinal tract so by the time you eat the food again, the body does not recognize it as a sensitivity.

Alternate foods: F you have multiple food allergies, one of the best ways to help yourself is to “rotate” your foods, or eat a rotation diet. A rotation diet is a system of controlling food allergies by eating biologically related foods on the same day and then waiting at least four days before eating them again. Such a diet can help those with food allergies in several ways.

What should my diet be?

Too broad, but: Healthy. For most people that is high fiber, rich in every vegetable, lean meat, fish or fowl, adequate calcium. Avoid as much sugar as possible, and plain flour products, ie bread and muffins. Avoid any sugared soft drinks. Drink at least two quarts of water per day!
