Neither.: It sounds like you may have just been tired or anxious. If it was the zoloft, (sertraline) you may have noticed the tremor early in your treatment. Essential tremors tend to run in the family and may appear earlier in life. You may have just been tired or anxious. I would go back to your doctor and he could find out if there are other causes.
