Depends.: It depends on what else is in it. Probiotics supposedly repopulate your gut with good bacteria. Most people have sufficient amounts of good bacteria in their digestive systems. I do use them when people who are taking antibiotics get GI distress as the antibiotics kill off the good gut bacteria.
