Probably not: Most antibiotics are used to help you of course. Any adverse effects are usually self limiting as over a short period of time, the antibiotic is no longer in your system, ... And would not be present 2 weeks after. You may have a virus or some other intestinal issues going on. Best wishes.

Check it out: Your symptoms of stomach cramping and diarrhea after antibiotics may be related to an infection of the gastrointestinal tract after usage of antibiotics. Normally this occurs after prolonged or multiple uses of antibiotics, but can even occur in short courses. The problem is caused by the c. Difficile bacteria. Speak with your doctor about the symptoms you are experiencing.

Antibiotic: Antibiotics can kill bad disease causing bacteria but they also kill helpful bacteria. Bad bacteria in the gut, especially clostridium difficile can grow and produce serious side-effects. This problem is at times treated with additional antibiotics such as flagyl. See your doctor to discuss further testing or empiric treatment.
