A member asked:

How often should a chiropractic manipulation be conducted for minor lower back pain and maintenance?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low back pain: Chiropractic care is an integral part of treatment for arthritis of spine and back injuries. In general, the treatments are 2 to 3 times a week for the first month and then taper off. If the pain persists or recurs despite repeated sessions, alternative treatment such as physical therapy or cortisone injections may be a better treatment alternative.
