Have hand evaluated: There is likely to be an infection. It is also possible than the tip of the thorn is still present in your hand. Go to the er and have the hand evaluated. Do not delay.

See a doctor: You need to be examined to insure there is no piece of yuca embedded in the skin. Also, you may need antibiotics for infection.
