Need sensitivity: Pseudomonas is not a common cause of sinusitis. But if the culture is valid, you need a sensitivity test to identify which antibiotic is most appropriate. If your ENT doctor has sent the mucus to the laboratory for bacterial culture, the lab will routinely identify the correct antibiotics in vitro that will kill the bacteria. Ask your surgeon.

Probably: Pseudomonas can be a common bacteria causing chronic (not acute) sinusitis. If cultures were done, sensitivities may dictate what antibiotics are appropriate. In general, pseudomonas is levaquin (levofloxacin) sensitive.
