?contact dermatitis: As described a linear (tract) vessicular, red, maulopapular rash is indicative of a contact dermatitis (such as poison ivy, oak, or basically anything you may have come in contact with that you are allergic to.) do you remember any contact? You can try otc steroid cream and Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and if it persists, get an evaluation. Good luck.
