May be no worry: Long-term use of high doses of tramadol may be associated with physical dependence and a withdrawal syndrome. Tramadol causes typical opiate-like withdrawal symptoms as well as atypical withdrawal symptoms including seizures, but these symptoms usually come within 72 hours of stopping it. If you don't have any symptoms after 1 week, then its unlikely you get withdrawal symptoms.
