Check: Frequency of nocturnal urination in a male would make a physician suspicious for prostate problems. Please follow with your doctor for further evaluation as there may be treatments that can help in your situation.

How often?: Waking up one time, may be part of the normal aging process and prostate growth, etc. Limiting your intake of fluids after a certain hour and the types of fluids you drink can help (beer, etc. May increase your nightly trips to the bathroom). Get routine check-up and lab work to follow your prostate (psa) levels, and if the problem becomes annoying and too often, you may need further testing.
