Depends if you hyper: Pigment after abrasion or not. If you have post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation occur after any kind of skin issue, it can take months or a couple years, also depending how deep it is into your dermis, or superficial. If it was just skin, that would heal fairly quickly. You may want to go to your dermatologist, who can discuss lightening agents that may help.
