How long after last dose of ativan (lorazepam) ( i take 6 mgs a day) is it safe for me to consume alcohol?

None: You are on a rather large dose of ativan (lorazepam). Because of this dose, i would not recommend you drinking any alcohol. It is not safe to mix them. Also, if you are on this large of a dose, likely you will always have some Ativan (lorazepam) in your system.
