Infection: A discharge with an odor and a history of pain may be the symptoms of an infection in your vaginal/pelvic area. Get an evaluation and some testing, best wishes.

Blood and odor: With respect to your abdominal pain it sounds like you had some menstrual cramping , which was concurrent with your period and blood could be a source of nutrition for bacteria. It is possible that you developed a bacterial colonization that led to a strange odor . If the odor persists, see your doctor.
