Swimmer's itch: I believe this rash is related to something in the water you were swimming in. Either an allergic reaction to a chemical or infection from an organism in the water. You should go to a doctor for further testing. You will probably be prescribed an antibiotic, antifungal or steroid depending on what the doctor determines is the most likely cause.

SEE A DOCTOR: There is not much you can do. See a doctor especially given the pain. Could be folliculitis but sounds like you need treatment.
