Likely normal: Babies are given several mechanisms to conserve body heat and direct their energy to growth rather loose heat to the room.Their cool hands or feet usually reflect this skill, shunting blood deep in the skin rather than stay on the surface. Dunk baby in warm water and see the skin blush pink immediately to verify this is true.
