Is ibuprofen ok to take after tonsillectomy?

Not the best choice: Because Ibuprofen may inhibit clotting, Acetaminophen (tylenol) is a better choice immediately after tonsillectomy (or other surgical procedures). If it has been a week or more, either Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen is fine.
