I am a cardiac patient with 2 stents in lad..problems breathing in cold ..below 35 degrees and in heat ..is this common ..can it be med related?

Possibly: If you're taking a betablocker (e.g. Coreg, lopressor, (metoprolol tartrate) tenormin, metoprolol, atenolol, others), a common side effect is bronchospasm which is often also made worse by cold air.

Should see your MD: What kind of "problems"? Angina and shortness of breath can be brought on by extremes of temperature. I would be more concerned about re-narrowing within the stent(s) or a new blockage in another vessel. You should get in to see your heart doctor asap.

Problems: This kind of problem is not unusual but you should consult your cardiologist to see if something untoward is going on. There may be steps your cardiologist can take in evaluating and treating the symptoms.
