Truvia: Is a natural sugar derived from a plant. Its a good substitute for sugar, combined with sensible caloric intake and exercise it will help to control weight.

It is neither: Healthy or unhealthy. It can save a very small number of calories from you intake when substituted for sugar, but by itself will not be sufficient for weight loss. You have to burn up 3500 calories than you don't ingest to lose one pound. A teaspoon full of sugar has only 16 calories, so deleting such a small amount won't lead to weight loss the baking blend of truvia does contain some added sugar.
