I have started exercising a lot for track on sunday and started my period on saturday and its monday now. and my period has almost stopped now.

Exercise and Period: Having some variations in your period can be sometimes normal. Changes occur especially when you exercise that can affect the length of your period. The important thing is to cut back on exercise a bit if you see this happening frequently and youll notice things get back to normal. See your gynecologist if it continues to be a concern.
