Urinary tract proble: The symptoms you describe may be due to a urinary tract infection (UTI) or a kidney stone. You should see your family physician for a urinalysis and urine culture. Meanwhile drink plenty of liquids and Ibuprofen should be okay for pain unless something stronger is warranted based on findings. Antibiotics are indicated if this is a uti.
