Acid reflux: Seek a competent internal medicine md. This not only will affect you health, but your teeth too. The erosive nature of the stomach fluids may destroy your teeth, despite excellent brushing and flossing.Best.

Many things!: Raise the head of your bed, or sleep on a triangle pillow so your esophagus is pulled down by gravity. You can start with h2 blockers like zantac, (ranitidine) if those don't work you can try proton pump inhibitors like Prevacid (my favorite is dexilant). You might want to get breath tested for h.Pylori before doing any of these, because treatment for that requires those plus antibiotics. Good luck!

Acid reflux: Dr simmons gave great information . There is one other thing to do. Get evaluated for sleep apnea. Sleep apnea can cause acid reflux. Do you snore? Are you tired much of the time? Are you overweight? Do you have high blood pressure? These are other symptoms of sleep apnea.
