Yes: The correlates for skin cancer are a lot of sunlight and fair skin in the population. There are particular areas in the U.S. Such as the southwest that have high incidence of skin cancer-ie. Melanoma. The importance of skin protection either with clothing or sunscreens cannot be emphasized enough.
