Testicular cancer.: Seminoma is a form of testicular cancer, and is the most common type. Compared to other forms of testicular cancer it has a good prognosis, with cure rates in excess of 90%. 15% of the time, it makes a marker called beta-hcg that can be detected in the blood. It is highly sensitive to chemotherapy and radiation, and can also be cured with surgery.
