Most people aren't: too excited about the idea of taking psychiatric medications. It is a constant reminder that something is wrong - and some people feel they are weak if they can't fix things without medications. Think about what your condition (ie. anxiety, depression, etc) feels like without your medications - that can be a strong motivator & may help you accept them.
