OCD not sudden: Ocd (obsessive compulsive disorder) is is an anxiety disorder in which people have unwanted and repeated thoughts, feelings, ideas, sensations (obsessions), or behaviors that make them feel driven to do something (compulsions). It starts during childhood or the teen years. Most people are diagnosed by about age 19. Symptoms of ocd may come and go and be better or worse at different times.
