A member asked:

Can you explain if it's possible to cut the v2 nerve in the face to remove a cancerous tumor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Malignant nerve: Yes you can cut and remove a portion of v2 branch of the trigeminal nerve in the case of a cancerous lesion. The cutting of the nerve will leave facial numbness in the cheek region on the affected side.
