Sure. Autistic : Spectrum disorder is a spectrum. You may have diminished, but not completely absent, facial recognition ; theory of mind. Some teens ; adults with ASD can infer what one character in a book or story is thinking or planning on doing, but not what a second character thinks that first character is thinking. Does that make sense to you?
