Sometimes: Although it seems to defy logic, sometimes it can be hard to fall asleep when you most need to. This can be due to tension or irritability from sleep deprivation, which then makes it hard to fall asleep. It can help to avoid bright screens (TVs, tablets, phones) & let your mind unwind. Maybe try physically relaxing with a warm bath or shower, before resting in a dark, quiet room.
