ENT or Chest Doc.: A persistent cough may result from a hypersensitive larynx which is a well documented entity. This diagnosis requires a well trained laryngologist (ENT Doc) or a pulmonologist to rule out any type of bronchitis, pneumonia, or asthma as a cause of persistent cough.
