Yes if okay with M.D: Probiotics can help to counter the GI side effects of most antibiotics. Probiotics can be taken as individual tablets or as contained in drinks and yogurt. Vaginitis is a 5-10%: Issue in women, so probiotics would be helpful, but would have to be in high enough dose. If you are not experiencing vaginitis, then you may not need it immediately. In general, any broad spectrum abx can do this. However, probiotics can be dietary, meaning not yogurt, but also fermented vegetables, like sauerkraut, kimchee, and pickles. So, enjoy a healthy meal too!
