A few hours: Outside the body, sperm will not last more than a few hours maximum. As long as they are not in your vagina, cleaning off ejaculate with soap and water is a fine practice.

If they dry they die: Once outside the body they dry rather quickly and they die. Inside a woman's body some will last up to 5 days. Soap and water will kill them. Best wishes.
