Yes: She could have gerd or acid reflux, gallstones, flareup of colitis or some other GI problem. She may be suffering from chest pain due to smoking which can cause heart disease. Smoking not only causes respiratory problems but has been linked to bladder and colon cancer. She should definitely get checked out by her internist or pcp to see what the cause of her pain is.
