You will be fine: Forgetting one dose is ok, and you will be fine. However, like any daily medication you take, you should get a process in place to remind you when to take it on a daily basis, so the therapeutic levels stay constant. Best wishes.

Nothing if only one: Nothing adverse will occur if you forget to take 1 zoloft (sertraline) pill. You should not "make up" the dose by taking more than your prescribed amount to at your next dosing interval. If you are type of person who is likely to forget taking your medications at specific times you may wish to consider pill boxes with alarms that can be set for dosing times for each of your pills. Buy these from the pharmacy.

You need a system: It takes at least a couple of weeks for blood levels of zoloft (sertraline) to build up to effective levels. So forgetting one pill should not created any problem. However, if you have a tendency to forget to take your pills or perhaps to not be sure if you took them, you need to work out a system for yourself that will assist you. Try pillbox that is labeled with the days of the week
