Ankle Fx: There are multiple different ways the fracture could move. If the cast is loose, contact the professional that applied the cast and make another appointment immediately. As stated earlier multiple different fractures and conditions can arise with a loose cast. This is an important time of healing for your body and a stable cast is prudent for this to occur correctly.

No: It will not become intraarticular, but the fracture may move (displace).

Yes. Possible: Any unwanted motion inside a cast could cause external and internal problems.

Was on cast nov 17, until dec 17 for a oblique fracture on tibia. Started running a month ago and my ankle still hurts as of this day. No therapy was required.. After running for 15 minutes it hurts.
Oblique distal fib fracture, ORIF. Getting cast off 5 weeks post OP, 6 weeks post break. Told ill be able to walk and will be ok. Is this right?
