Unusual: Seborrhea does not cause hypopigmented spots on the face thus i wonder if your problem is from something else. Unless , of course, you have been scratching the area affected. On the other hand, another fungal infection called tinea versicolor can cause this problem after it has been treated. However the problem should resolve with sun exposure.

Hypopigmentation: Anytime there is inflammation on the skin especially in darker skin, there could be hypo or hyperpigmentation (light or dark spots) left behind. This typically resolves with time unless further inflammation occurs. A proper diagnosis and treatment plan should be conducted by a skin doctor.
