Yes: It is considered safe to have intercourse during pregnancy, and it is not unusual to have bleeding with intercourse during pregnancy because the cervix tends to bleed easily. But, given that this occurred, you should call your doctor to discuss and see if they are concerned at all about the location of your placenta before you have intercourse again.
