Any other symptoms?: Can give fluids and tylenol (acetaminophen) if needed. Fever is a sign of infection viral or bacterial. If fever lasts more than 4-5 days see your doctor.

Fever: Most cases of fever are "benign" such as viral infections. The elevation of his temp is not severe and if he is stable (no troubles breathing, not lethargic) he may be observed and not necessarily treated if tolerating it well. Fluids is # 1 intervention. ?head Cold/Viral: If it is like a head cold, tylenol (acetaminophen) may be all that he needs. But watch out for any signs of meningitis which would cause headache, drowsiness/lethargy and can make a child ill very quickly. In that case you need to be prepared to take him to an er or to your peditrician(i hope he has a pediatric doctor to help/guide you). Tylenol (acetaminophen) can be repeated every 6 hourly and will keep fever down and comfort.
